Who Am I?
I am a researcher. I am deeply interested in the history of privacy and how to create secure systems that withstand modern challenges to our internal notion of privacy. I am detail oriented and laser focused. I'm a hacker in the old school sense of the word, and love tinkering on projects.

I strive to be the best person I can be. I am fairly interested in social justice and creating a fairer place within tech. If there is anything I can do to be respectful of you, and help you learn more, just let me know and I'll do my best to respect it. If you would like to know more about my political leanings, I encourage you to research Posadism, in jest. Until the alien vanguard comes, we must strive to be gentle and fair with one another though.

I'm deeply passionate about data privacy and ensuring user data is secure and protected. I deeply care about this because I am for the rights of everyone. I care a lot about making this world a better place. My research interests include security and privacy, with a focus on allowing free expression of speech and against government repression of dissidents. To this end, I did a master's project in oblivious RAM (ORAM), and working to make it practical. I improved performance in deeply nested programs by 68% with a projected exponential improvement.
Ok but really?
Ok seriously. I am a recently graduated master's student from UCSC. I love hiking, I love my dog, and I love tinkering around. I love metalwork, I love gardening, and I love solving cool problems. I love talking about math that I don't understand and talking with people who know more than me. I'm an enthusiastic extrovert. I'm an activist and care deeply about other humans. I like running, and I like cooking. I hate doing dishes and taking out garbage. I love making herbal tinctures and teas and going on foraging walks. I'm on the board of a synagogue, Kanfot Ha'aretz.
